When you enter a village the thumbnailed pictures show using pop-ups, there are no adverts on this site. |
| Why villages and places of interest around Barnard Castle? Because the site www.Villagelife.me.uk is a part of www.barnardcastlelife.co.uk (twin site of www.barneylife.co.uk), go visit, see what Barnard
Castle has to offer but first explore this site and enjoy the pictures of the
surrounding area. I have only been able to grab half an hour in each village, this is not enough time to discover the best bits. You live there so you know where the history, interesting parts, best views etc are so if you would like to be sociable invite me to your village and show me them! If you live in or are surfing for the villages that I have not completed yet then be patient, your turn will come. As I am sure you can see this is a long term project. I wanted to get the site into the search engines as quickly as possible so it would be ready for searching as and when the villages were added. This is a one person project so it will take me a while to complete, but bear with me I will get them all done one day! It is unfunded and contains no adverts apart from adverts from those sites that supply services such as the guestbook, forums etc for free, I think that is fair enough. If you have any comments feel free to e-mail me, if you have pictures or information you would like adding feel free to e-mail me. if you have links to sites that should be on this site then guess what? Yes feel free to e-mail me them. Use the Guestmap and show me where you live, If you have comments on village life, anything from foot and mouth to rural policing feel free to make your point in the forum, and finally don't forget to leave a message in the guestbook to let me know you were here. |
