The golden lion is situated in Galgate, more in the town centre and definitely one on the weekend route. Like all pubs in Barney now busy on a weekend but quiet during the week. Had it's ups and downs over the years falling in and out of favour but picking up at the moment (mainly because we miss the Kings Head and we need to go somewhere). I drink there and thats the best recommendation I can give it.
